LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I present unto you the world's first CHILDREN OF ACID™-based novella. It's a little something I call HYPER-REVOLUTION...and I think you're gonna dig it.
The idea for this has been brewing in my mind for well over a year, and I finally decided to take the plunge and compose the story herein. I like working on new things and taking on new challenges, and I've never sustained a narrative of this length before -- but I've been having an absolute blast doing it, and one of the main reasons for that is because you've all inspired me.
Because I know I'm going to be asked this question, let me just state here for the first time, this is NOT an official CoA project. If it were, it would be featured front-and-center on (or maybe somewhere off to the side of) Mr. Nolton's website. As I consider things, this work has neither been sanctioned nor disavowed. It's an independent work of fan-fiction featuring characters loosely based on some people who have inspired me to stretch my talents.
HYPER-REVOLUTION was structured to be released in serial-format, a chapter at a time. In accordance with this creative decision, the latest chapters of the story will be posted on my CoA Profile Pages each Sunday and Wednesday (schedule permitting), as well as here. This site is where you can read the whole thing, from beginning to end.
This site is free. Just keep coming back and enjoy the story. I guarantee, it gets even better as it goes along. This entire piece is essentially one long love-note to an entire site full of entertaining, exasperating and inspiring people. And if you have even half as much fun reading it as I did writing it, you'll probably want to light up a cigarette when you've finished the final chapter.
As for me, I only smoke at the keyboard.
